girls or boys?

as a student of sociology... i just wanted to share some of my views on gender discrimination. i don mind even some body brands me a feminist, but i m not. as a girl i may be concerned , i don think this is anything more than what i am. it was explained by some theorists that the roots of gender discrimination takes us to biology of sexes. it is that men were gifted with a body that gives out quick energies. women to store energy and use it for reproduction. so, it is because we measure strength in that way men were defined to be strong according to biology. look at that. and also the power definition is inclined towards the bread winner. no importance for the real person who works with no time limits behind him.she is ofcourse the first one to least prone to botherance. even power is defined in a way men are elevated. and most sarcastic things are social norms. norms are also designed in such a way that feminity means being patient, delicate, being a good home maker, and wat else..... every way women are born to subordinate men. they are just born to reproduce and child care. but who is bothered about her? and look at this... masculinity is agressiveness, boistrousness,vehemence, roughness and what not. i jus want to give a note of an incident which happened between me and my grand pa jus a couple of years ago. one lazy morning i was doing some work which irritated my grand father and i went bananas after a small altercation with him. suddenly he asked me "why are u being so boisterous and behave like aboy?". oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry... my godess!!!!!!!!!!! this looks as if anger is the whole sole property owned by the great male fellow beings on earth. i think this experience which i had is nothing new to any girl. they also might have had it at some time but with some other person they know. and so sorry to say even many of the women are very much happy to get adjusted with the concept of feminty. may be the situations might have changed slightly by now. but the very definitions of feminity have not changed. still girls are prone to many rules. i think women is the only being most vulnerable to oppression. of course, i know no male chavunist will be ready to accept this. too many rules if u r a girl. do not look up.. do not look down. do not wear that .. do not wear this... do not talk to him or do not talk to her. indepence or individuality is also an attribute to MAN. women are not allowed to lead their own way of life. now that many ladies have become conscious and started talking of rights. if not even today the famous theory of women's subjugation will rule the world.
